Monique, I found more than one site dedicated to information regarding owning a chipmunk as a pet. We own birds, and I would feel the same way about keeping a bird in a cage. It seems unnatural, and while I wouldn't feel right about it, that doesn't mean that others feel the same way. I find them fascinating and cute as can be. I have a friend in Canada who has several that climb all over her, and are tame, but she does not own them. They own her. (lol)
