Icy, thanks for the visit. I had to take these pics when I saw them growing behind my daughters. I am going to try to get a root from her. Jeannie says they take off very nicely.

Oh Judy, if you are planning to grow them, be very careful of where to place them..Yes, like Jeannie said, they will take over and it's very hard to get rid off..I inherited it and dislike it with a passion!

Anne, they are at my daughter's and she is not into flowers like I am so I imagine they are growing pretty much on their own.

Gorgeous photos Judy, you captured the color perfectly. They are one of the first bloomers of spring.
I have these in one of the planters on my back lawn, they are also called Periwinkle. I see Icy has already warned you about the way they spread. They need to be contained in some way or they will take over.
Judy, my daughter's are growing so nicely and I'm going to ask her for a root, but I will follow Icy's advice and place it in a planter.
